Our Story
Zimmerman Sales & Service has been a trusted name in the agricultural community since 1982. Based in Goshen, IN, we proudly serve farmers across Northern Indiana and the surrounding areas with expert on-farm equipment service, custom liquid manure hauling, and quality agricultural equipment sales. What started as a small operation working on silo unloaders has grown into a dynamic business that adapts to the ever-evolving needs of modern farming.
Founded by Richard Zimmerman, the business was built on a commitment to hands-on service and a deep understanding of the challenges farmers face. In the early years, we specialized in silo unloader repairs, but as the industry shifted away from silo systems in the mid-1990s, we saw the need to pivot. Rather than close up shop, Richard adapted. He began offering services in liquid manure handling—first with the equipment he already had, and later expanding as demand grew. That flexibility and foresight are still the backbone of how we do business today.
